So when we heard about the microplastics we wanted to seek out somewhere ethical and fresh to get our tea. Indian tea is known for its quality, and VAHDAM are definately that. It's a quite large-leaf blend, so if you like your tea relatively strong, you'll have to leave it to steep for perhaps rather longer than you might have anticipated.This describes itself as an 'Original English Breakfast Tea' - if that is the case, then it is likely that the EBTs I've sampled over the years are not the same. My experience of EBT is that it tends to have a very 'clean' edge to it, which makes it good for that first, refreshing infusion of the new day. This (the Vahdam blend) seems to have a softer, richer, more malty flavour, which may imply greater reliance on Darjeeling.
