Its a plant based company that prides itself on as using no animal or synthetic products in its ingredients or manufacture. **Q: Does this have a " key" that roll the tube up so as not to waste it and is easier to use?e?** A: L’Occitane do make a key but it has to be bought separately. I’ve used this hand cream for years and never seen the key and hand cream sold together. I squeeze some cream into a small plastic pot with a lid and just keep refilling the pot. When I get to the end of the tube my husband squeezes the last bits out as he is stronger than I am! I then use a cotton bud to make sure I get every last bit of cream out.
