Review: Stuff In Open Spots! It Works! - Since I put this around areas that might be allowing mice into my house, I haven't had a mouse since!! It does rust, so if it gets wet, there is rust showing on parts of my house, but I'd rather have to take care of that than killing mice every week!
Review: Very fine, cuts easily - I was surprised by the very fine texture, but it was perfect for stuffing into the mouse hole and there were no messy strands of steel wool sticking out. I then put caulking over it, and no more mice!

**Q: What grade of stainless steel is this made from?**
A: It's not stainless steel at all.

**Q: Is this actually stainless steel?**
A: NO. I ordered it looking for real stainless steel wool and upon opening the package I had my doubts so I took a little bit, got it wet, and set it on a paper towel, rusted like crazy by the end of the day.
The best solution I found for real stainless steel wool is the stainless steel scrubby things they make for cleaning. You can stretch them out and cut them apart similar to steel wool and they appear to be actual stainless steel.
