The A1 size is perfect. I can put all my manuscripts on the board to read whilst no parchment is too big for it.The mechanics is very poor. The rule should have turn knobs to release the rule for cleaning, and secure the rule to a fixed position to work from "datum". The legs should have more rubber pads to secure the board to the flat work surface. Occasionally the board slides away from me when I lean into it. The wire framework at the back could be much stronger and durable.The handle is great. Care should be exercised when resting the board vertically because the rule will slide down and get damaged.For the money it cost me ............I expected something much better. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Almost alright, but dodgy ruler ruins it *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 April 2017* Ordered this drawing board a couple of weeks ago to enable me to continue with my uni coursework over the Easter break. Had seen the less-than-average reviews and did not mind as this is the make of drawing board we are supplied with at university, and works perfectly fine there. The board arrived well packaged but dusty. Most of it works fine but I really have an issue with the parallel motion ruler, as not only is it a little loose from the surface of the board, it moves a few millimetres side to side when it is supposed to be fixed - obviously this is extremely unhelpful especially when doing technical/scaled drawings.
