Review: Great value for money. - This island is excellent value for money, we had enquired at our local kitchen shop for an island and for one the same size as this we were quoted £5000. Our main need was for extra worktop space in the kitchen and this provides this, the extra drawers and cupboard are an added bonus. The top is granite with wood surround with a seal between, so no ledges for crumbs to collect. The quality is good and we should get plenty of years use from it. Unfortunately the overall experience was let down by the delivery, only one man and access to our house is not very easy. Because of this the unit suffered some damage on the towel rail at one end. I raised an issue via desertcart with the company and then spoke to Miles who dealt with the issue promptly offering a replacement unit or discount on the price, we went for the discount. Thank you Miles for the straight forward way that you handled the issue, I wish other companies were as responsive as this.

This island is excellent value for money, we had enquired at our local kitchen shop for an island and for one the same size as this we were quoted £5000. Really love this island , great value for money , very sturdy , delivery was earlier than expected, delivery guys were great the island was to big to go through the patio doors , they unpacked it outside even though it was pouring with rain at 7am in the morning .

I bought this to increase the kitchen top area. The built and design are excellent. The vendor promptly replace the first one with a cracked marble top. Overall hundred percent satisfied.
