Can it be used to carry liquid?** A: Hi .. apologies for the reply delay; been away. The box lid has a lip that fits into the top rim of the body. If this was secured and sealed then yes, I think it would hold some liquid, although probably not if it was really full and the box not kept upright. There are no other holes in mine and it is perfectly OK when the ice I use in mine melts. It's just securing the lid I guess. You can put things in it, especially cold things so they stay cold. But hot things will stay warm as well. All in all it's an excellent styrofoam box, as a box I can't fault it, the styrofoam is actually styrofoam.
