Review: Great bang for the buck. - This hammer drill did the trick for me. I only needed to drill around 20 anchor's in concrete. I was going to rent a hammer drill, but it turned out to be cheaper to buy this hammer drill than rent one. So instead of renting I bought this. Now I own a hammer a drill! The hammer function works great, it plows through concrete like a boss. Be sure to dial down the rotational speed of the drill. For hammer drilling you want less rotation. Use the little dial on the trigger to dial it in. It came with a tone of bits. I I've already used a couple of them for other projects. Great vlaue for the money. And as far as I can tell, it is durable.

A: DJZ05-13 Hammer Drill is not used for Normal Concrete and Heavy Concrete, please use Rotary Hammer for Heavy Duty work. DZC05-13 is mainly used for Wood、Metal、Ceramic Tile (Drilling), and BrickWall、LightweightConcrete、Cement Brick (Hammer Drilling).

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bang for the buck.

This hammer drill did the trick for me. I only needed to drill around 20 anchor's in concrete. I was going to rent a hammer drill, but it turned out to be cheaper to buy this hammer drill than rent one. So instead of renting I bought this. Now I own a hammer a drill! The hammer function works great, it plows through concrete like a boss. Be sure to dial down the rotational speed of the drill. For hammer drilling you want less rotation. Use the little dial on the trigger to dial it in. It came with a tone of bits. I I've already used a couple of them for other projects. Great vlaue for the money. And as far as I can tell, it is durable.

### ⭐ On the second use the chuck screw snapped off

My first impression was positive as the drill had good power, and using it on the hammer setting with only a 1/8 inch drill bit, drilling a few holes in a concrete block was a breeze. Unfortunately, on only the second use (3 months after purchase) and using it with a 2 inch hole saw just a single time, the chuck fell off! The chuck is threaded onto the drill arbor but they use a tiny screw, apparently made out of pot metal, to keep the chuck securely in place. With just a little stress with the larger drill bit that screw snapped off rendering the drill useless, as the chuck will just unthread itself in normal use without that screw. Unfortunately, part of the screw is now snapped off and stuck in the drill and it would require a very small screw extractor to take out, and then getting a replacement screw from the manufacturer, to fix it. There are two problems with this drill that I can see just from this one issue: 1st, the screw they used is undersized to hold on the chuck of a 6 amp drill. Secondly, if they were going to use such a tiny screw then they need to make sure the screw is made from high quality titanium steel. Since my purchase is beyond the return date, the only thing I can hope for is that the manufacturer will contact me about getting a replacement. If that happens I will change this review rating, and hope that the next drill is better.
