**Q: I don't think this product is working as it should. When attached to the outside tap it reads 8Bar even if you turn the tap down to a very slow flow.**
A: the pressure could in fact be 8 barr.  i live in leeds and work in north yorkshire. In leedsi i have recorded in excess of 7 barr, in ripon the pressure is very high.  The only way to be sure is to ask your water company what pressure you could expect. Turning the tap down or turning it on slowly will have no effect on the pressure, that is the classic missunderstanding between the difference in pressure and flow rate(volume) and the relationship between pressure and flow rate

**Q: I just need to check water pressure on outside tap before I buy expandable hose pipe.  Will this do that job**
A: Yes, I bought this gauge to test my water pressure as the outside tap is the easiest point to test pressure.

**Q: What diameter is the connector, and what pitch thread?**
A: Here follows a part answer: (1) The integral blue connector is a female with a 25mm (1") ID hole.  The manufacturer also supplies a black, reduction-adapter which screws into the integral blue connector to provide a female 19.5mm (3/4") ID opening.  These seem to fit the two most common of outdoor taps found throughout the UK.  (2) As to thread pitch, I've no idea at all!

**Q: can the hose be changed so it can fit onto a 15mm compression coupling?**
A: Yes will screw onto outside tap and 15mm crompression fitting
