The little tinfoils are easily opened. Just set the little pad over your nail bed then undo the clear sticky tab and pull the foil tightly over your nail and stick down. I left for 10 minutes pulled off the foil and gave my nail a rub with the pad. Much to my surprise ALL the gel rubbed off, leaving a clean, undamaged nail bed. A personal tip is lightly buff the gel nail before applying the foil. This enables the product to soak through your gel more efficiently. Absolutely brilliant. I used to use foil wraps to take off my gel nails but I found I was racing through acetone and they were hurting my fingers when wrapped tightly. A friend suggested these to me and they're great. So easy to use and they don't hurt my fingers. They are already soaked in acetone which is so easy. I just ripped the top off, put my nail inside, pull off the plastic tab, wrap it tight around my nail and stick in place. 10-15 mins on and the varnish comes straight off!
