Press button A and the lights come on and off from a press of button B, but and it is a big but, it operates when you open the car with the remote, neighbour's cars work just as well! I have tried re-pairing the remote to the device as per the instructions but the result is the same. I would not recommend this for a use where you need to be secure, a Garage door remote or example. I am somewhat disappointed in this very basic flaw, not even a basic layer of security. An annoyance when switching Christmas lights, but unacceptable if you need to be sure that there is no interference.
