Your underlay should be around 5-10cm smaller than the length and width of your rug so that it works close to the edge but does not show. Not effective if placed on carpets. Not suitable for use on LVT flooring.For larger rugs, use 2 or more pieces next to each other. No taping is necessary. The underlay can be easily trimmed to size using scissors.
