Since we can't have a dog in our rented house, she was dreaming about puppy toy. She wanted something with real dog features, not just walking-barking dog. I made a little research and found couple of models including Alfie. What can I say, all of them have got good and bad reviews, some of them have troubles with remote control or appliance. We were lucky and got an excellent toy! It can't walk, but it barks and makes a range of dog's sounds and movements like sitting, laying down, sleeping, a little pouncing. We don't have any problems with remote control. And it looks good quality and so cute. Most reviews commented on the sleep mode, and they are right. The toy doesn't seem to come back straight away from it. You either have to wait a while or turn off and back on. Not really a big issue though. My daughter absolutely loves this toy. Bought it for her birthday and she has played with it every day. Straight out of the box the remote didn't work properly and the front leg came unattached on the first day of careful use.
