The best way to tell if a gel and a styling cream is compatible is to dispense a tiny amount in the palm of your hand (about 1p sized blob of each product) then mix them together with your finger. If they blend together smoothly, they’re compatible. If the styling cream goes into blobs/chunks (a bit like cottage cheese) then they’re not compatible.
