All I did was go to unplug the charging cable from the left ear and it removed the chrome base and a wire along with it. Based on this alone I wouldn't recommend. But I took my chances and bought them, and I have to say I am well impressed! Pairing Is very simple and easy, it is easy to use and connect via Bluetooth. Sound quality is AMAZING! VERY LOUD than my original Apple and Samsung Headphones, BASS is fantastic! To those hesitant to buy these (probably by reading the reviews) I would definitely recommend these for you and they wont let you down! They are extremely light weight and a bit delicate - just watch out when inserting and removing the charging cord as is could pull apart the charging port from the earpiece (This isn't a bad thing, you just need to be careful when removing the charging lead!)Overall, amazing product and well worth the money! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stylish good headphones *by D***I on 25 September 2018* This is an (cheap) alternative of Airpod. It looks very stylish, fits into ears very well (slightly bigger but not massive). It connects to my phone very easily, and the battery last for a very long time. Both earbugs can be connected seperately which is very convenient.
