They fit top left and right behind the heater (approx 4 inches in from left and right edge and 2 inches down from the top edge). A 900W model will use 0.9KWh so if your electric costs 20p a KWh it'll be 18p an hour to run. That said once your room is upto temp it will cut out. Being oil filled it will cool slowly still giving out heat. Didn't like the instructions for programming as too many different options condensed into small booklet so took a while to fathom out which option would be best. Fitting instructions not great for working out where the brackets go. I placed the radiator at the height needed, and with the correct amount of space around, marked off height and between the fins where the brackets would fit. Take a level and draw horizontal line, then where you marked between the fins due a vertical line.
