Although it's expensive and the scent isn't as appealing as other brands, I find the quality, texture, weight and finish of the actual moisturiser so much better than other brands, I'm willing to pay the cost and put up with the slightly clinically smelling product. I have combination skin, some bits oily some bits a little dry and I find this product has my back whatever the situation, weather etc. With other products I've found that after a busy day at work I can have a really bright 'sheen' to my face as the moisturiser mixes with the oils on my face, pollution in the air and generally wears off. Thankfully I don't encounter that problem with this moisturiser and find it dependable throughout long work days and exposure to all types of situations. If Clinique could improve the scent of this product it would be exceptional and worth every penny.
