Being controlled be an 8 and 6 year old have had lots of spins, bumps and crashes, but appear to be so far unaffected. Kids have got bored before battery has run out (approx 30 mins driving) so I would suggest that the 20 mins described is probably conservative. We have taken it to the woods ad it performs really well. If it goes on grass that has been cut but not picked up the grass does get caught in the tracks and wheels.
