Free delivery and returns on all eligible orders. Review: Chain - Shimano 6700 Ultegra - Good product & an Excellent Supplier. Back in the day when I was a young time-trialist apart from "block chains" used by track sprinters the chain choice was 1/8th Inch or 3/32nd inch, so the modern multi-gear chain seems incredibly flimsy to me and the fact you need to specify the number of sprockets on the block (cassette in today's parlance) complicates the choice even more. Having taken great care to order the correct chain for my 10 speed Shimano Ultegra cassette. I was somewhat taken aback to find the delivered chain was clearly marked for use only with a double ring crankset. I'm using a triple ring!!! I contacted the Supplier, he was very helpful and said he would replace the chain with a "triple" by return if I could use the desertcart returns process. I did (what a great system) and the new "triple" chain arrived even quicker than expected. Using the TRIXIE CHAIN RIVET TOOL (see separate review) fitting the new chain was a breeze and gear shifting restored to the slick smoothness of the bike when new. I don't have the "kick" of Mark Cavendish MBE or Sir Chris Hoy but the chain has withstood everything I can throw at it including "honking" the relatively flat (15% max) hills of Essex. Review: You can use it with Campagnolo - Best Quality for people who are using Campagnolo Cassette but your system is shimano, YES you can use it on Campagnolo as I am using for the past 10 years ## Features - Warning:Do not aim at eyes or face. - Super narrow lightweight 10-speed directional chain with 116 links - For optimum cassette and chain set interaction and maximum power transfer - Features chain uses a directional design with specifically shaped inner and outer plates - Available in silver colour ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004IA41L2 | | Best Sellers Rank | 481 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) 1 in Cycling Chains | | Brand | SHIMANO | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,509 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04524667414018 | | Included Components | Gear Chain | | Item Length | 1469.2 Millimetres | | Item Type Name | Shimano Ultegra 10 Speed Chain - Silver | | Item Weight | 0.64 Pounds | | Item length | 1469.2 Millimetres | | Load Capacity | 10 Kilogramm | | Load capacity | 10 Kilogramm | | Manufacturer | Shimano | | Manufacturer Part Number | CN6701116 | | Material | Alloy Steel | | Model Number | CN6701116 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Bicycle | | Recommended uses for product | Bicycle | | Specification Met | Nein | | Specification met | Nein | | Strand Type | Double | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SHIMANO - **Load capacity:** 10 Kilogramm - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Recommended uses for product:** Bicycle - **Specification met:** Nein ## Images ![Ultegra 6701 10 speed Road Mountain Bike Cycle Chain CN6700 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51ZYsXjdHaL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Pattern, Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chain - Shimano 6700 Ultegra *by B***8 on 22 March 2013* Good product & an Excellent Supplier. There is a handy break off stud that fits the chain together which makes fitting really easy. This chain is directional but it is very clear which way around it has to go. It was also really competitively priced. The gear's did need adjusting slightly once the chain was fitted but that was expected. ## Frequently Bought Together - SHIMANO Chain Ultegra 10 Speed (Length: 116 Chain Links) - Shimano CS-6700 Ultegra Bicycle Cassette (10-Speed) - Shimano Ultegra 6701 10-Speed Chain --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/48247625-ultegra-6701-10-speed-road-mountain-bike-cycle-chain-cn6700](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/48247625-ultegra-6701-10-speed-road-mountain-bike-cycle-chain-cn6700) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
