Just looking at a lot of these products, I can see exposed mains connections that would be perfect for little fingers to explore. Before using any of these with children around, the transformer units should be placed in a locked cupboard to prevent ANY accidents.  Also, some of the reviews for these devices do not tally with the products shown.
