There are helpful tips about the day-to-day care of the dog and cat; including brushing, bathing, ear, eye and tooth care etc. There is also a lot of information covering health and safety when grooming; including what to look out for in terms of parasites. The one negative is that for anyone who is expecting a step-by-step guide to the actual method of cutting their dog or cats hair; there is not the level of detail to do this. Overall, I think this book is great for anyone who in enthusiastic about their pet and dog/cat grooming learners.
