I dont wabt it to run thank you** A: If your art work is water-soluble then it would be better to buy some acrylic spray varnish and give it several light coats of that to protect it. Then it won't run while you're sealing it. **Q: Does this dry clear?** A: Yes it dries gloss clear but I use it specifically to dilute colours. **Q: Can I use this to β€œvarnish” an acrylic pour on canvas? And will it dry glossy?** A: I have used this not just as a medium but also as a gloss varnish, leaving the acrylic painting to dry for 24 hours + beforehand. I apply it fairly thinly in a dry brush manner, which yields a semi-gloss even finish. Second coats of the same sharpen the gloss finish.
