It's great that it sends text message when the charging level is critical. ### ⭐ Not fit for purpose *by J***. on 22 February 2017* I had intended to buy 4 of these, one for each car, as 2 of them are used infrequently and invariably have flat batteries after a week or two and lose compute/alarm memory on recharge. I decided to risk only the cost of 2 until they proved to be of use, I'm glad I did. Both cars are parked outside windows, one at the front of the house, one at the side, neither signal is received on my iPad or iPhone immediately by the window a metre or so from the car with the bonnet down, let alone any where in the house I may be using them. I can get a signal with the bonnet up, but that is hardly practical. I will see if I can find or make a direct connection from the battery to the cab of the cars to see if the signal manages a better path through the glass.
