They have a nice weight and a good solid feel to them and are very sharp indeed (need to be careful of the tips when open as they are very pointed!) Only used once as an amateur on my old, grumpy rescue ram and he didn't complain and neither did I as they are comfortable to use and being so sharp got the job done quickly without worrying the old boy too much. Eddie gives them 5 stars and is like a 2 year old again! I have one with plain blades coloured turquoise. The picture shows red, which seems to be serrated on other sites** A: Good evening These (red handle) are serrated blades, we do also supply the green with the plain blades if required **Q: what is the length of blades please ?** A: Hi apologies in the delay in replying. Only seeing message now. Unfortuantely we do not have these shears in stock at the minute. **Q: Can these be used for pigs ?** A: Have a look on YOU TUBE at forest grunt she is trimming her pigs feet with the exact same hoof trimmers. I don't have pigs any more, I bought my trimmers for my Jacob sheep feet. The trimmers are perfect for a woman's hand, they are small, light weight and very sharp. I find them easy to use. After use I spray with disinfectant, wipe then spay with a clipper blade oil. They have been used dozens of times now, and still like new. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good quality *by R***H on 8 January 2020* I was immediately impressed by the quality of these clippers.
