**Q: Does the brass colour rub off?**
A: Brass is a solid metal that has that yellow colour all the way through it.  If it was say brass plating on top of maybe stainless steel you might over a long period of time as the plating wore off expect the pen to go silver.  However as this pen is solid brass I expect it to keep its golden look for a very long time.

I hope this explains a little about why I i expecting mine to keep looking golden for a very long time indeed.
