I cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol applied the double sided adhesive to the product, then applied to the countertop. Within minutes it started lifting up. I applied weight to it and left it overnight thinking it might need time to completely adhere but that didn't help. Reapplied new double sided adhesive, still lifting up.
