**Q: Does the beak stay I the position as pictured or does it flop open wide and stay that way?**
A: I am not sure I understand your question. The beak sits on face exactly as pictured. The child can open the beak and put them in r hand in it but it stays in position.

**Q: Does Bird Bird come with cloth eyes like Grover does?**
A: Hi there, Big Bird comes with plastic eyes.

**Q: Machine washable?**
A: Tag says hand washable -cold - so i intend on putting it in a pillowcase, cold water and gentle cycle in my machine.

**Q: is big bird really 14"?**
A: Yes 14"

Can't fault this in any way, it's brilliant!! He's just under a foot tall, cuddly, with floppy arms and legs and fluffy hair. Really good quality, well made and looks exactly like who he's supposed to look like. After receiving this one, I bought the Bert one too. Well, you can't have Ernie without Bert, can you?! :-D
