I have no young kids at home, so have not used it on a child. It's painless and flexible, though, so it probably won't be as noticeable to him as a plaster is. **Q: Can this be used on split ears? Ear has been torn downwards. On a child too of 9 years old.** A: As a gardener I have only used it on the normal small cuts one gets - it lasts longer than a plaster and does not fall off when washing hands.
