I'm new to this so I don't know if that's the norm. Don't be surprised if some of the straps hooked on around the mount become undone in the process (you can hook them right back on). ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the price but not really for larger mics *by H***X on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 August 2020* My Aston Origin did fit after a bit of a fight (the maximum diameter of the holder is smaller than the size in the listing) bit it's all essentially not very precise and the inner suspended clip is not central, it's towards the back and that only leaves a couple of millimeters clearance between the back of the mic and the holder. They are essentially made for smaller mics, I would say 48mm diameter would be the maximum without issues. I didn't send it back because even though it's not totally ideal it does do it's job of suspending the mic and unless you spend a lot more on an official one that comes from the mic manufacturer they are probably all like this. It's made of metal so it's not going to break and safe for the mic as long as the elastic parts don't snap. ### ⭐⭐ Not bad but not great. *by E***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 August 2020* I bought this because a friend recommended it to me. I had it for about six months and it was fine until randomly the elastic bands snapped at the point where each end was connected together. A couple of weeks after the same thing happened to my friends one too. So the whole thing just fell apart.
