You would need a Hozelock Quick Release Aqua Water Garden Hose End Pipe Connector Fitting if you don't have one, snapshot I can't include as Amazon says not supported. That screws onto your hose and clips on to grey bit. The enclosed item is generally bought if you don't have an outside tap to clip the thing I've described onto. But, what your buying is rather a 'make do' connector & hopefully will screw down & fit say your kitchen tap where I'm guessing your intending to dangle in your hose through a window and onto your bathroom or kitchen tap. Being 'make do' I recommend you screw it very tight, pop a cloth round outside of the fitting and ensure you don't pull the hose hard else it will come off the tap with possibly damp consequences.
