Owen Smith), as a girl from a former world - The Blue Star: Lucia (Voiced by Kelly Weaver) comes forth to prevent the evil entity's return... then comes two denizens of Lunar whom get involved with Lucia's mission - Hiro (Voiced by Chad Letts) (A lovesick, adventurous sixteen-year-old whom falls in love with Lucia) and his pet baby dragon Ruby (Voiced by Jennifer Stigile). As they move through Lunar to stop Zophar from coming back as well as awakening the Goddess of Love and Beauty Althena, they meet several important denizens: Leo (Voiced by Ty Webb) - A powerful magic swordsman, Ronfar (Voiced by Ned Schuft) - A magical gambler with superb healing magic, Jean (Voiced by Jennifer Stigile)- A fan dancer with a mysterious past whom eventually becomes a powerful Martial Artist with Street Fighter-like techniques, Lemina (Voiced by Kathy Ostrander) - A Magic Guild Student with powerful elemental magic and Nall (Voiced by Jonathan Esses) - the Future White Dragon whom assumed the form of a youngster human (Think Luna from Sailor Moon).Fun Factor: Anime everywhere you go, Anime sequences with CGI included, unique battle system and mechanics, undeniable charm, heartwarming moments, the Omake Box and an Epilogue to continue the adventure!And so: Grab this RPG gem and get it complete - you'll like all of the extras included in the Omake Box! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still Shining Bright *by M***T on November 10, 2023* I played the prequel on GBA, but this is on a whole different level. Almost done with disc one and the story and characters are amazing. The change between voices and normal text is impressive for an older game, but it's nice to hear the emotions from characters. I hope that the rest of the game and can find a copy of the first game to experience the story from the beginning. ### ⭐ Jurassic, but not Classic. *by E***T on December 7, 2000* All you nostalgic people out there who won't play new RPG's for what ever reason, and who give high ratings to ancient games that weren't even that great when Mr. Flintstone played them, this goes out to you. Get off you high horse and play games like Suikoden 1 & 2 or Final Fantasy VII & IX and Xenogears. Afterwards, if you can still say that Lunar 2 is better, then I'll feel really sorry for you. But I'll also tell you that if you are going to play antiques, then play something that's actually good (i.e. Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, ect.). Not this trash. Now for those of you who have played real RPG's like those listed above and who might be curious about this game. Don't Be! The story line is practically a carbon copy of the original Lunar. Which wasn't great either. You'll notice that both heroes look alike and both have annoying flying monkeys. Why live the same bad story twice??? Also, the battle system is boring and the fact that you'll be using it alot is enough to drive anyone crazy. In conclusion, not all old games are bad. But some are, and to give a game a high rating just because it was the first RPG you've ever played, or because you were the only one on you're block who bought a Sega CD back in the days of the Dinosaur and this was the best game for that system (which isn't saying much), just isn't right. Take my advise.
