Hope this helps ;) **Q: Hi, can I use this for sowing bonsai seed or am I better to use an alternative product?** A: This is not suitable for growing seeds, there is no such thing as Bonsai seeds. They are just seeds from trees or shrubs. Seed germination for trees is very hard and there are specific condition required, often different for each genus. For general seed germination, I would use John Innings No:1, but you are unlikely to have a great success. **Q: Can i use with all bonsai trees as IV got four different trees** A: Akadama soil is good draining soil for all bonsai trees but or frail trees it may be helpful to mix with say 30% potting compost or for poorly growing trees you can mix in sphagnum moss (30% potting, 30%sphagnum moss,40% akadama) which is a good medium for encouraging root recovery. **Q: Is this just Acadama or does it contain Pumice or Lava rock as well?** A: This bag contains just Akadama, nothing else.
