Do you have?** A: I used this tape around outdoor pots. It did a great job keeping the snails out. **Q: What is the thickness of this tape in mil/mm, without the tape backing?** A: I don't think it's measurable. It is extremely thin. **Q: Can this be used on an breaker box and smart meter to protect me from emfs coming through the wall of my home?** A: I don’t think that this tape can help to cover the meter, it is too tiny, it’ll be better if you protect you meter with the fabric coper paper but on a breaker it can works. **Q: Will this work with shielding earth magnets?** A: I’m not sure, this coper tape is like the aluminum tapes but super tiny. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Value for Copper Foil with Numerous Uses -- the Roll Will Probably Last Decades *by K***A on June 18, 2024* I hesitantly got this 1/2 inch version for some laptop grounding work to eliminate static electricity issues. The laptops are bigger inside than you think -- the 1/2 inch is perfect. When you ground the foil to a screw, it will probably still work but the 1/4 inch could easily break or twist making a mess. I used two 3 inch strips in the laptop. The other 32.5 ft. will last a LONG time.One small note: ease of use is a 4, not 5, because it's very difficult to pull the protective plastic sheath from the sticky side on the foil. You need a very thin knife edge to flip up a corner of the plastic, then all the rest of the plastic just pulls right off. I note this difficulty of use is inherent in any foil tape and this tape was probably easier to pull off than many others. The second strip was much easier than the first. If you use it frequently this protective plastic is probably not an issue.
