A colleague of mine introduced me to this little tool. I have to say that at first glance, that I thought "one touch and this diamond coating will be gone". However, my doubts were unworthy. I applied the tool to the face of quite a large grinding wheel, with a light, delicate touch, and in a few seconds the wheel was trued. To my surprise, the diamonds remain in good working order after doing their work. The tool is much less intimidating to use for those with no experience of a Huntingdon Star Dresser, and I would say that there is much less stress on the wheel too. It does leave the wheel somewhat smoother than the star wheels do, but the grinding action is still effective after dressing. Give it a try, you can't go wrong at the price.
