However, it has become more of a permanent measure, as it does a very good job. Very easy to install, although you will need two people to put the dryer on top. The strap goes over the dryer and washing machine and holds it all in place very snug and secure. There is no movement when one or the other is on, even when the washing machine is on a fast spin. The pull out tray is very useful when emptying the dryer, as I can fold stuff up and place it on the tray. I have had my dryer stacked atop my washing machine for over a month now, with both running most days, usually at the same time, and there is no wobbling, no movement and also less noise than before. Not only does this device save space, but the pullout shelf is perfect for folding washing on.
