It was worth a punt.Now, for long and very dry hair which is prone to being frizzy, the shampoo has been little help. It doesn't nourish the hair at all and leaves it dry and lack lustre. The hair this was used on is not prone to greasiness and the shampoo did an average job of cleaning the hair shaft, requiring two shampoo applications to get the hair feeling clean.However, the scalp has dry dermatitis cradle cap type patches, and the shampoo has made a big difference to this! That makes this shampoo product very swings and roundabouts.We found the conditioner to be about as much use as a chocolate teapot. The only difference it made was to layer more of the shampoo scent onto the hair. We use the charcoal shampoo and a different nourishing conditioner and that seems to be a lot better.The smell though! Oh boy, the smell of this stuff is not good. It's like a cross between some kind of overpowering furniture polish and a cheap air freshener. Other reviewers compared it to coconut. I don't know what kind of coconuts they've been smelling but that isn't what we would've described it as being!However... the extra catch...if you're a fella you might quite like this (shampoo) as my other half got on quite well with it on his short hair and having 'man smelling' hair, the overpowering aroma didn't seem quite so bad or as lingering.Would I buy it again? I'm 50/50. I've heard that other scalp skin shampoos (like head &a shoulders) have the same drying effect on hair and strip colour from colour-treated hair too. If that's the case, I'd probably be spending more for a slightly less stinky big brand product with the same kind of results.I get the mixed reviews now, I really do. If your hair needs really nourishing products, and you have no scalp conditions, I wouldn't recommend this. Otherwise, weigh up the pros, cons, and price tag, and maybe try it out. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Dyed Hair *by N***B on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 April 2018* It’s a good shampoo and conditioner, works in to the hair well, and makes it feel great after andI found the smell pleasant. The only downside to it is that after a few weeks of use I have noticed it has made my hair dye fade so much quicker than usual (using the same one I have for years without any issue previously of quick fading) therefore as much as I love the way it makes my hair feel once I have had my hair done again I will not be using it any more as want my hair colour to last more than a few weeks. Wouldn’t recommend if you have dyed hair but if your hair is uncoloured i would recommend it ### ⭐ DIRE! *by M***W on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 March 2018* How this usually retails at £19.99 is beyond me, I'm kicking myself for even paying the reduced price because this set is simply terrible!First of all, the consistency of both is super runny, almost like the product has been heavily diluted so you need to use twice as much as a regular high street brand. I don't use many styling agents so my hair needed refreshing rather than clarifying which is what this set is promoted as. I had to wash my hair twice and even then it felt no cleaner than had I just wet my hair. In fact, the shampoo left a nasty residue behind and no amount of rinsing would shift it.Let's talk conditioner. It clearly states on the packaging it has Pro V and moisturisers, really? Again, the product was a really thin consistency so lots was needed and when I applied to my hair, it felt as though I was applying water - literally, zero moisturisation. Simply awful!The worst part occurred when I blow dried my hair, instead of feeling clean, refreshed and conditioned, I was left with greasy roots and dry, frizzy ends.
