There are two packets of parts inside but you'll need both open to complete the setup. I had an initial worry I'd ordered the wrong type for my speaker until I opened the other packet (the wife tells me to read the instructions first) but there's a set of different instructions in each packet for different fitment types but you need parts from each). Overall this is a great product and usual high quality Bose kit. Went together easily and very sturdy and exactly what we needed. The cable ticks away nearly in the post and hidden both ends by a cap. I have this for a speaker where I can't mount on the wall, so make sure you measure the stands final speaker height height prior to mounting other brackets on the wall so they are the same height ( if you're like things symmetrical like that!)
