Review: First impressions are good. - I actually found it hard to find 50mm stainless steel brads - I did not want galvanised as they will rust and stain the wood over time. At least with stainless steel the chances are greatly reduced. Tacwise as a brand I have used before so I went for them, and I bought a Tacwise pneumatic nail gun to fire them. So,, 1,100 nails later, not a single misfire or jam. I am very pleased. One thing I really missed was a hook to hang the gun from my belt between uses, and I couldn't find an aftermarket one either. This is probably a workshop tool normally, but as a trim or second fix nailer it could be used anywhere. Also some rubber sides would be nice to stop it scratching up or sliding when laid on the floor. Minor gripes, the function is brilliant. Pt no for nails ?** A: If the timber is a softwood i.e. pine it should manage it ok. Never having used 50mm nails in this gun I can't guarantee that it'll be fine but this is a pretty powerful gun and sometimes shoots the nails right through 1/2" boards requiring a drop in pressure. I can't see it's rating from the description making it difficult to say if it can power this hand tool. I previously had the mains electric version which would jam frequently or not fire at all.
