Something lightweight Silicon based might be better. **Q: can I use this on a bird feeder pole to stop little critters climbing up the pole?** A: You could try, although I doubt it would deter any animal that can climb. A girlfriend used it on pots to stop slugs climbing in. Personally I'd use it on bearings. **Q: What is the temperature range of this grease?** A: All it prints on container that is fit for all wheel bearings and gives protection over a wide temperature range **Q: Could this be used on brake caliper slide pins. High temperature resistance and rubber friendly?** A: Think most greases are rubber friendly as most bearing seals are rubber and CV Joint boots. As for calliper pins, I would use Copper Slip rather than bearing grease.
