Review: effective protection for table tops - I bought this for our new dining room table. It is easy to cut to size and protects the table top well from spills and more importantly, heat. The heat protection is afforded by means of a patterned rubber backing in relief, this also provides a good non-slip surface to avoid the cover slipping around on the smooth table top. Good quality and effective in function, would recommend.

I bought this for our new dining room table. It is easy to cut to size and protects the table top well from spills and more importantly, heat. The heat protection is afforded by means of a patterned rubber backing in relief, this also provides a good non-slip surface to avoid the cover slipping around on the smooth table top. Good quality and effective in function, would recommend.

This is a good quality protective cover. It covers the large table even when extended and hangs nearly over the edge, once allowed to settle out of its packaging, and the strong smell disappears quickly.
