## Description

From the manufacturer Poly Cement Application Directly onto plastic model kits. A cocktail stick can be useful to apply sparingly to small areas or fine details. Drying time Surface dry in 10-20 minutes. Fully dry in 1 hour. Drying times will vary according to ambient temperature and humidity. How to clean Can be removed if not fully dry by re-dissolving with Liquid Poly or more Poly Cement. Permanent once dry. Item details Item code: AE4021 Metal Tube Volume: 12ml Dried colour: Clear Balsa Cement Apply directly on Balsa, soft woods, cork. Between 20-30 mins, fully dry in 1 hour. Wipe excess with damp cloth. Item Code: AE0603 Metal tube Volume: 24ml Model Filler Directly onto substrate without excessive application of product. If gaps are deep two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat. Surface dry in 1-2 hours. Fully dry in 24 hours. Wipe away using a damp cloth. Product is permanent once dry. Review: Hardens VERY quickly so only put a thin layer each time - I needed some of this filler for a model Spitfire (what else?) and it worked very well indeed. I needed to fill the indent where there was an option for a stand underneath and one bit where the fueselage and lower wing didn't look quite right. I put too much on and because it sets as you apply it, was quickly left with a smal lump. I removed this with some P1000 grit silicon carbide paper and after the paint was applied it was as good as I could have hoped for. I also wanted the wheels up, but there was no option in the kit for this, so I simply glued the wheel and cover in place leaving a small hole where the assembly would hinge from in the wing. Again, filled and looked perfect. Altogether a great product when you like to modify or finish a plastic model.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the filler need to be painted with a primer when used on a model before being painted with acrylic paints?**
A: This product dries to a similar dull grey to Revell's version, so I would certainly recommend a primer, especially if your base is several different colours after using the filler and/or you're finishing in a light colour.  It really does show through less than 3 coats (based on using Halford's white or grey primer).  Btw, in my experience it's easier to rub & finish than Revell's product.

**Q: Would this be suitable on a resin military model kit or should I use something else ?**
A: Hello I have never used resin but I cannot see any reason filler will not work . With regard to paint I have a feeling it may help to acrillic flat varnish before adding a top coat. Try the filler and paint on an insignificant part of your model so any horrors will not damage the model. Good luck Mark

**Q: Why does this product not ship to Northern Ireland, surely it is not flammable or restricted?**
A: Probably Brexit. Despite what Uncle Boris said there are barriers in the Irish Sea. I would advise do not come to England and try to smuggle it into Ireland you could end up in serious trouble
