Ideal for edc as the blade length is under 7.62 cm. Sharp enough out the box to create feather sticks plus the blade holds its edge well . Finish of the knife isn't too bad as it's sold wood and brass . As for the opening and closing is about the same pressure as a Swiss army knife, blade thickness isn't bad at 2.2mm so pressure can be applied to the blade. Ideal for gardening or to just pop in a backpack for camping.
