The beaters are a little bit longer than the other ones I've had which comes handy when making large portions.One thing worth noting is that the motor is very strong for such a small thing and even the slowest speed setting is quite fast, so you need to be careful to not splash flour all over your kitchen. Might not be the best appliance for mixing any delicate batters.I use mine weekly and I am very happy with it. I've made big batches of bread dough, and paired with the dough hooks the mixer preforms amazingly - the motor doesn't seem to struggle at all with the heavy dough! I am well pleased, makes kneading SO much easier! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing product and price point. *by A***N on 11 January 2020* As with all Andrew James products (I've had several, the salt and pepper grinders are awesome). This is great, I gave it a swift try to do some cloud bread as soon as I got it. It's easy to handle, the blades fitted easily and securely and ejected easily to. I went through all 5 settings + tried the turbo with no problems. Getting a balloon whisk was also a nice bonus. I also know for a fact that the customer service you receive is excellent (one of my grinders stopped working, literally, the day before the years warranty was up. I contacted them and they just sent a brand new pair out and said " just keep the others", so now I have a spare brand new one, and one for spare parts. It only stopped working because the "spindle" had rounded off. Probably because I used it many times daily). The prices for what you get are amazingly low, but don't let this put you off about the quality. Andrew James products are the first I look for when I need kitchen appliances etc. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant item *by M***A on 28 February 2020* Easy to use! The hooks and whisks are robust and easy to insert and release! Speeds are easy to select and start at slow to increasingly faster with each stage and therefore cater for all uses!
