I do not recommend this product **Q: Can you pan and tilt via phone not just the remote?** A: To the best of my knowledge there is no APP for this device. It works on remote like any TV "dibber", so no networking is available. Check too the weight of the camera you will be using. I tried a camcorder and camera. The unit is not up to supporting either of those. I wouldn't recommend it for anything heavier than a GoPro type device. **Q: Hi, Can you mount on top of a tripod?** A: Yes.. Standard normal size tripod mounting. I believe US and Europe are the same fitting. **Q: How do we order a replacement battery for the remote? manufacturer? any manufacturer/seller? specs? i am concerned about cost.** A: I do not have the item in front of me but the battery is not expensive & easy to source... its a small 12v alkaline battery, common for many keyfob style transmitters... it will either be a type 23A or 27A from memory (ebay; ~£1 - £2 for a single battery). If I remember later I'll check it out and re-post ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by M***L on 21 January 2017* Very funky I like ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Charge before use...... *by R***D on 3 October 2016* This product needs a review as there is nothing on amazon to read from customers...so here goes.Item ordered via my Prime account and delivery took about 5 days to arrive as next day prime was not available.Upon arrival I was keen to try this out as we alll are when a new gadget arrives, BUT YOU CANT!!!This product has an internal battery and it needs to be charged before use. For me, this item does not operate from external power as the USB socket (micro) is for charging only. I've not tried the full size socket yet, but I assume it's to power a GoPro from the pan/tilt unit...I need to check if this is internal battery fed power or looped through from the incoming socket.After a short charge (10mins) I was able to operate with the supplied remote complete with a retro style pull up antenna!! The results are pretty smooth pan/tilt action, however it's one motion at the time. You cannot pan and tilt together as the remote will only send one command at a time.Press and hold and the unit responds swiftly.Supplied with a protection strip to hide the off button and a mobile phone selfie style stretch mount to use a smartphone as well as a typical action cam. This is designed for small lightweight cameras only, so don't expect an slr to work.For under £35 it's a good price for a handy piece of kit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It really does deserve 5 stars *by B***. on 22 August 2017* It really does deserve 5 stars! The weird part first: I work in front of the camera, so when I push the "C" button to pan "left," it pans "right"! "D" button pans "left"! Which I can accept because I work in front of the camera. But the "A" and "B" tilt buttons are similarly reversed. I live in the Northern Hemisphere, so no jokes about "down under"! There is the power switch for the remote, but no switch for reversing A B C D. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the couple-hour charge cycle needed before first use. I've had to charge many items over the years before using. My iPhone ran out of battery on Saturday! Couldn't use it for an hour. It handles my Logitek webcam no problem. I'm not going to even try to mount my Panasonic 9000 HD recorder at 1.2kg. Wrong use from the outset. I am nervous about stocking up on the replacement battery for the remote, as there is little to go by except "23A 12V" printed on the battery itself.
