About the start-up Describe your product in three words.Super tasty hand-made chili sauce.How did you come upon the idea for this product?David Weyhe is the inventor of the Mexican Tears chilli sauce. He tried many different hot sauces for a long time, but none of them really fit his taste. Many of sauces were too vinegary or simply too mild. So, he decided to invent his own chilli sauce. He was quickly able to delight his friends and family of the idea. But there was one person in particular: Thomas Abeln. Thomas tried all of David's new creations from then on, and he was the honorary chief tester of the latest creations. In 2010, after three years of cooking and tasting, it was finally done: the hot Mexican Tears sauces won over the taste testers.What makes your product so special?Mexican Tears sauces are not only hot, they're also super delicious. Each sauce is lovingly handmade, filled and labelled. Only high-quality ingredients such as fleur de sel and natural chili sauces are used.
