Someone is silly enough to pretend 800 lumen = 3000 lumen, giggle giggle. No. The light output IS 800 lumen, marketing eh!So what of this 800lm zoomable torch marketing people pretend is 3000lm? A well constructed torch, a very stable bright light with no flicker, high grade aluminium and five modes of operation, that's what! How do i know it is quality aluminium? Because this torch does not get hot (very good thermal dissipation), therefore a good heat sink therefore high grade aluminium. The torch feels substantive with a nice sleek design. It takes three alkaline or three NIMH AAA batteries or one 18650 lithium battery. If you require a long stint with the torch (fishing, camping, hiking, etc.) lithium would be best, if intermittent usage is the norm (as with me) then the AAA low drain NIMH batteries are best, just make sure they are low drain. Alkaline batteries are worse for the environment and taper off in use as they run down.To summarise:800lm zoomable torch - it's bright!Sturdy construction.5 modes that work well.High grade aluminium, so doesn't get hot.Nice sleek design.Bad points:Well only minor, it has a lanyard, NON adjustable and seems a bit flimsy but i am not dropping a star simply for that!I love this torch!100% (or should that be 3000) recommend this product. 5*. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great torch with a nice wide beam. *by A***Z on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 November 2017* We live in the country where there is no street lighting. A torch is essential and this ticks all the boxes with its wide beam. It is also very light weight. It zooms to give a square of intensely focused light, however I am ensure as to whether this is the brightness claimed. I think not. However for my purposes ( walking in the dark) it is perfect and a very reasonable price. I am comparing this with 'P Lenser' torches which cost far more and are heavier. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really handy *by T***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 April 2018* Brilliant little torch with a really good light output. Really handy to keep in your pocket when out dog walking. The torch itself has a slider which when pulled will project the light further but narrower when pulled it will light up your whole path. Would highly recommend.
