Review: Great Product - This Gesso is such a good product, it is smooth and silky and a very bright white, I use it to prime board and canvas for 3D Modelling Art... it dry's quickly and smoothly with a slightly silky finish and works exceptionally well as a primer, you can use this for 3D art but the drying time would be a lot longer than just painting it on as it would be a lot thicker but if you have the time to wait overnight before continuing your art project this stuff is a game changer. I tend to use gesso for prepping stuff. From the canvas I am using to all the items I have added to it for a mixed media project. Before I add paints, mists, gilding wax etc. I also use it on a finished piece to tone down the finish. I tend to watch maremi small art you tube videos which helped me out a lot. **Q: Can this be used on canvas before i use alcohol inks ?** A: Yes, if they are acrylic inks anyway. I often use these on a primed surface. Have a practice first. **Q: Can this product be used for priming plastic scale models?** A: Yes can be used on all surfaces **Q: Can this product be used as an under coat for a car and would i be able to use thiners for spraygun** A: No you cannot use it for a car .. it is for artists to prime a canvas or mixed media project .
