But a bit on the square light side *by J***R on 14 May 2016* Ok, so I bought this torch to use as the basis for a project for one of the kids I teach as it was cheap and had some great reviews. This means that it was get chopped I'm half so that it has a separate battery pack and it can light up a themed lamp.Outside of being a teacher I am also a member of my local search and rescue team... And the one topic everyone in SAR teams loves talking about are torches! We spend a fortune on them!! I must have 200 quid + in the back of my car (I hope my wife never finds out!!). So I thought I would try this torch against a similar sized torch, so I dug out my led Lenser M7 (they are the same size).So the differences, the led lenser costs 5 times the cost and takes one extra battery (4) compared to the Youpin. The led Lenser is slightly brighter but not by much. Bearing in mind the Youpin is advertised as a stupid amount of lumins, it is nowhere near what it is advertised at. For me the two things that would put me off for serious work are:1. The front of the torch is far to easy to unscrew and this could easily work it's way loose.2. When looking long distance with the torch the area lit up is quite small and a square patterned shape.The body feels cheap compared to the led Lenser, but for the price it is not a bad torch!! This would be great as an occasional torch, just not for someone who needs to use a torch daily ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ take a gamble. *by R***O on 4 December 2016* I was very sceptical when I ordered this product. lots of reviews saying it is bad, lots of reviews saying it is good.The torch I received is simply brilliant, super bright and very sturdy I was quite shocked the quality was so high saying it was made in china for 7 quid. I put 3 triple A batteries in it and it is like having a mini spot light in your pocket, at maximum focus the beam easily reaches 30 metres, no exaggeration. I have read the bad reviews and all I can say is order one in the hope it is a good one. ### ⭐⭐⭐ It's NOT 2000 lumens *by A***Y on 26 June 2016* Torch arrived quickly and in good order.I inserted the battery pack the wrong way to start off but soon realised.
