We had turned off our pump for a few days as we had been losing water from our pond and were going to be out of town. When we returned our pond had turned green (although the water level hadn't changed.) I tried several products I bought locally but nothing was reducing the algae. When I saw the ad for Healthy Ponds, it sounded more promising than anything I had seen. When it arrived by mail, I quickly followed the instructions and treated the pond. Day by day from Day one, I could see changes...almost miraculously the algae was disappearing. Within 5 days I could again see the fish and the bottom of the pond. I treated it one more time per the instructions. Then I refrained from using it for several months. It maintained the clarity with no further need for treatment. I have since ordered additional packages to have on hand...just in case it's needed again. However to date I have still only treated the pond twice and 6 mos later, it remains clear. When a neighbor complained of her pond being green with algae, I told her about the product which she ordered. As quickly as mine had cleared, she had the same results.
