I'm over the moon, because it's really difficult to buy a large and beautiful designed chopping board in the local or online shopping. I actually used for kneading dough and clean it very easy for using a kitchen towel to wipe it dry. I only washed once when I've received the item for the first time with running water with a little bit antibacterial washing liquid and wipe it dry. It's worth the money for the excellent quality and then I used ikea oiled for that and it immediately looked so beautiful. Beware for the recent hot weather, if you place these chopping board in your warm kitchen area, it will turned a bit warped, but upside down it will return back to normal. no worries :) Review: Fabulous in appearance and design - This is a top quality product. However, it seems to bow ever so slightly and in use moves on work top?** A: WE have 2 of the largest blocks and they are 100% flat and don’t rock at all. As they are really expensive at £90 each if mine rocked or was bowed I would have sent them back. Are you sure that the surface they are on is 100% flat **Q: is it water friendly?** A: Hi There Teak is resistant to water ingress, but not waterproof. It is always best not to let your board sit in water or clean in a dishwasher, just wash by hand in the sink and dry thoroughly. Hope this helps. Chris **Q: Is this board wholly Made in England or imported nd repackaged in England?** A: The box it arrived in had a sticker saying ‘Made In Vietnam’ on it **Q: How to clean the chopping board when first use?** A: When it arrived we just cleaned it with some neutral antibacterial spray suitable for chopping boards, we wipe down after each with the same spray. We have not needed to oil it as it came pre oiled. It’s been an absolutely brilliant choice no regrets and it’s been used daily for over a year and it still looks brand new, well worth the money.
