I will say, the discs are not that large (1 lb. jam jar size), so unless the burgers are small, I doubt they would work too well, but being waxed, as they are, they might work. Basically, it's trial and error. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Joan. **Q: Will these fit a 500ml jar?** A: Yes, I find them just as good as the Lakeland ones, they're the same size and do the same job. There are 2 sizes - I bought both to be on the safe side(they're SO much cheaper than Lakeland's!) and they fit the smaller and larger jars of jam, though not Kilner jars - I have to cut waxproof paper for those.
